The three Bellerophon-class dreadnoughts were built for the Royal Navy between 1906 and 1909 as improved versions of HMS Dreadnought. They carried ten 12-inch guns in five twin turrets and were the first British battleships fitted with anti-torpedo bulkheads.

Bellerophon, Temeraire and Superb served with the Grand Fleet throughout the First World War, and all three fought at the Battle of Jutland in 1916. They were sold for scrap in the early 1920s.
