Duca degli Abruzzi was one of the last two Condottieri-class light cruisers, commissioned in 1937 with ten 152 mm guns. She is listed by the IRCWCC as the Garibaldi class.
She fought at the Battle of Cape Matapan in 1941 and escorted convoys to North Africa. She served with the Italian Navy until 1961.
