Tashkent was an Italian-built destroyer leader delivered to the Soviet Navy in 1939, one of the fastest warships of her day.

She ran supplies and evacuated troops and civilians during the siege of Sevastopol, and was sunk by German aircraft at Novorossiysk in July 1942.
